Oh my gosh, I am so sorry it has been so long, but I’m back… and hopefully with more consistency. So this is my first post with pictures and outfits in Chicago! Frankie from Style Through My Eyes, whom I absolutely adore, shot them right down the street from my apartment. After we shot the pictures we hit the town and literally got home as the sun was rising, it was too fun! So, after being in Chicago a month and a half, I’ve noticed many Chicago women have their uniform, I have one too, no judgement, but the Chicago lady is often seen in some version of the shift dress and flats for daytime and skirts and blouses at night. It is nice, but I wanted to find a way to take that and spice it up a bit. I was very inspired by Alexander Wang, he sent a button down buttoned similar to mine down the runway for Spring. He paired it with shorts, I did as well after I realized this skirt was just a little too short, oops! Anyway, I decided to try it out, I liked it. I suggest you try it as an effort to spice up your button downs.

Lets Hear It For The Man

Paul Fredrick’s Summer 2014 collection launches today on their website! I have chosen some of my favorite looks and paired them with other items from their website that I would love for a man to wear. Nothing is better than a man who knows how to dress himself, even though a woman’s touch always helps! I am in love all the shirts from the summer collection, I would love to steal one from someone! Ha… The ties are also beautiful and they all are 100% silk! I must say, my absolute favorite piece are these loafers, they are so amazing. For the women out there, a great gift for men are cufflinks, I love the idea of personalized ones because that makes them special. Mens clothing is so beautiful and it is seriously so nice to see a man dressed nicely. These pieces are only the start of what Paul Fredrick has to offer, for all my young professional man friends out there, this is for you!
